| Mathematics lessons of the new millenium require
enriched tasks. This site offers student activities, linking maths to other school subjects or to students' experiences. Students' age group: ± 14 yrs. No lesson plans are offered, as each idea will need adaptation to class level. Among the topics: angles, symmetry, scale drawing, balance algebra, tables, combinations, statistics, probability, reasoning, finding rules and formulas, problem solving, etc. Some of the named tasks were used in the TIMSS Performance Assessment 1995 that was carried out in 20 countries.
